Connotations

-The boy is wearing white trousers which represents his innocence, goodness and purity.

-The boat is also white which could represent their safety on the boat though he is with a Tiger.

-The blue sky could be associated with the confidence and goodness of the Tiger and Pie.

-The colour orange on the bottom left of the boat could represent Pi's determination and energy to find help. But is represented small as he has the Tiger in the way of him helping himself.

-There is light shining on the Tiger, which may represent there is a way of escaping. It also reminds me of heaven which could also show the freedom and safety of where they are.

-The loyalty and closeness between Pi and the Tiger is strongly shown by the Tiger opening his mouth and protecting Pi. This is shown by the Tiger being close and bigger to Pi. This also shows how more powerful the Tiger is compared to Pi. The closeness is also shown by Pi standing up straight to show his protection over the Tiger.
