My Production Role

Set Designer
Image result for set designer models
My job involved:
- Planning what is needed in each scene
- The safety of the set
- Sorting where the props go

A Set Designers Role normally involves the lighting, props, background and the items that make up the scenery on the stage.

What qualities would you need to be a Set Designer?

- Creativity
- Imagination
- Good communication skills
- Good organisation skills
- The ability to work hard and under pressure

What qualification would you need for this career?

- A HND or degree in Art/Theatre Design
- A Creative and Digital Media apprenticeship
- An internship in theatre
But you can get into this job without a degree if you have a very high level of design skills and creative visions

If you want to go to college and be a set designer, the best course would be an Art and Design Course.
